mood: amused

abundantlyqueer is posting fic again! She's done more of the Elijah/Orlando "Dragon Slayer" AU, lots of plot and character tension, still in suspense. And a fantastic Green Street Hooligans fic, Matt (Elijah's character) / Pete (Charlie Hunnum), dialect written so well I could hear his voice: Kick Off.

HOMG, so funny! TV-tropes style analysis of the History Channel WWII series:
Let's start with the bad guys. Battalions of stormtroopers dressed in all black, check. Secret police, check. Determination to brutally kill everyone who doesn't look like them, check. Leader with a tiny villain mustache and a tendency to go into apoplectic rage when he doesn't get his way, check. All this from a country that was ordinary, believable, and dare I say it sometimes even sympathetic in previous seasons.
Also vastly amusing, cleolinda posted her Twilight movie snark, Eclipse in Fifteen Minutes -- entertaining even though I only know anything about it via fandom & media.

Finally! A nice free lightweight word processor for Mac, and the name is: Bean.

That word doesn't mean what you think it means: the title of the LJ home page the other day was LiveJournal: A global community of friends who share your unique passions and interests.

More seriously: LiveJournal is purging old journals, the old suspended ones (kicked off for cause), and possibly some deleted by the users. And they're doing it now. Which means that familiar names may show up but are not the same people as they were before. Be careful before friending, k?

off to bed

JACOB: Look, I'm sorry about that, okay?

BELLA: BAD DOG! NO BISCUIT!

I was reading this whilst eating baby boiled potatoes with butter.
I ought to sue you for reccing this, as the butter went down the keys of the keyboard.

Thank you for the lunch-time interlude. I did enjoy the laugh! :D

I shall read abundantlyqueer's newly posted fiction with joy.

Which means that familiar names may show up but are not the same people as they were before. Be careful before friending, k?

That's an ominous spin.

Should I start a msallegro journal? :D :D Joke! Joke!

Honestly, you are right. But I don't think a lot of people will use the name of someone in their own area of fandom. That is, I don't think the risk is very high.

you're probably right.

and they are keeping the old name half there, adding numbers to the ends: talesinbloom_1234. So that they're doing right.
