mood: groggy

I had 27 windows open, most of them with at least five tabs. I keep meaning to comment, to rec, to read more carefully... but it isn't going to happen. I apologize for not doing all those good things, but I'm making links as I finally get them closed:

greenqueen's nostalgic LotR actors (huggy) picspam

LOST Finale Explained Well - one of the show's writers makes a whole lot more clear to me.

It's monaboyd_month! 30+ days of DomandBilly fannish goodness :-D

From the fabulous padabee: wonderful big photos of Liv, Miranda, Viggo, Elijah, Sean Astin, Ian McKellen, Bernard Hill, Andy Serkis a press conference, but when? 2002?

Also: highres Orlando in London, May 2010.

Viggo the Football Fan - he throws himself into his San Lorenzo team like he does everything else. Also, viggo_daily has been fabulous lately!

kiltsandlollies - Ian McKellen picspam on the occasion of his 71st birthday.

also via kiltsandlollies - Billy video interview at the premiere of "Pimp". Choppy video, lovely audio: if anyone has downloaded it, I'd love a copy!

Also, Billy will be starring in a musical made of Proclaimers songs, Sunshine on Leith (schedule). For me, fandom streams recombining, berreh kept trying to tell me, but I did not get into the Proclaimers until I heard Billy singing Oh, Jean, at the TORn oscar party.

Elijah and Andy smiling at Andrew LesnieThis behind-the-scenes photo of ROTK, Elijah and Andy, fight scenes stopped, smiling at Andrew Lesnie (thanks to karin_woywod)

Rachel Weisz at CannesRachel Weisz at Cannes (with her film Hypatia which has still not come out in the US, dammit!)

Five Ways to Write Femslashy Porn - awesomely inspiring tones, themes and vocabulary.

[dreamwidth.org profile] hekateriness's A poll on kink - only the aggregate results are visible. or if you are shy about doing it yourself, kink poll results.

lobelia321's Interim review of: Very long HP fic "Format: Very bizarre. Not posted to comm, blog or AO3 but pre-bound as a print-out with someone's fanart on the cover"

Manolo for the Big Girl - style for fat women like me.

free open source timeline software - I'm not entirely sure how it works but it's interesting.

also, updated my fanfiction recs

my pleasure!

I might try making June a Post Every Day Month. A side benefit would be closing yet more tabs.

Yes it has! In limited release, anyway :D It's called Agora, and my friend said it was INCREDIBLE.

I was just about to say the same thing - she plays Hypatia but the film's called Agora. I think I've already missed it here in the UK.

Right, Agora. Now playing in NY only

* Landmark Sunshine Cinema (New York,NY)
* City Cinemas Paris Theatre (New York,NY)

somehow I have to keep track of it. You'd think SF / Berkeley would be a good market!

That LOST Link is incredible. It finally made sense for me what happened in S3 or 4 I think. Thanks a lot, might repost that.

SO MUCH GOODNESS! But never feel like you must do this—if it ever becomes less than a pleasure, pull back a bit for yourself, and share when you're ready. ♥ You bring SO. MUCH. to fandom and to us here; remember to enjoy things for you as well. ♥

It's actually a relief to do something with the pages and close the damn tabs!

And for the ♥ thank you -- I've been feeling lonely lately.

What a rich post! The huggie-buddy picspam was fabulous, Ian's birthday picspam delightful, the Lost finale explanation interesting and possibly one of a thousand different takes on the subject who will ever know :), Billy's interview yummy oh the cadence and stretchy vowels! Thank you for all of it!

Very cool! I'm writing a New Zealand Elijah/Bean fic and I like figuring out exactly when people got them (and in the case of Stuart, left). It grounds my story.

I was never a great expert on that time. I know that Billy and Orli were on the same flight and that Dom was a little late by, I think, a couple of weeks or a month. I wouldn't even trust a Dom quote on time because Dom has a very aproximate sense of time.

I'd try the appropriate section of Not Alone's Journey with Frodo. It can be helpful for info on the other actors, too.

Perhaps we can discuss the timeline thing further.
