mood: working

Hiya all, I have a problem I've never come across before and can't find the answer in my books or searches.

I need to send specific parameters based on whether or not a field is filled in. If field A is filled in, I need to send ps=A:foo, etc. Advice? directions? Could I do it in XSLT? I'm fine with that, I just need to do it reasonably cleanly.

I'm just brainstorming, and I don't know, but would a "when ...(or if? is there such a thing?) ... choose" construction in XSLT do that for you?

I dunno. But my new project is remarkably similar to this, so I'll be watching what your geenyus friends come up with.

There is a choose in XSLT. but my brain can't figure out how to adjust the contents of a text field without making it show up. I think I need a JavaScript onclick kinda thing. Argh.
