Vegemite has NOT been banned

Snopes says no Vegemite ban. They quote the FDA saying it's a technical violation of the rules to add folate to anything except breads and cereals, "But the FDA has not targeted it and I don't think we intend to target Vegemite simply because of that."

Snopes is wonderful.

Weird, I could have sworn that there are orange juices that advertise themselves as having added folic acid. Maybe they're just touting the amount that is already in there? But I didn't think it was all that much.
