music: Pitty Sing - CTWYL (thanks to antigone921)

I'm traveling for work this spring, and would love to meet up with friends instead of being stuck at conferences all the time.

April 9-12, I'll be in Boston, and will have some time free, esp. Sunday the 10th to see friends. Also, I'm looking for either a close place to crash, or leads on reasonably-priced hotels / B&Bs near the Fairmont Copley Plaza.

May 15-19, I'll be in New York City at the Hilton (like last year). I'm probably getting in pretty late Sunday, but would love to go out for dinner or drinks, also Thursday morning.

Approx. May 29 - June 8, I'll be in France! The conference is paying my way and hotel in Paris on June 1 - 2. Other than that, t'husband and I will be wandering around the country, indulging our history-geek selves and eating well (without children :-) ). Great way to spend our twentieth. We'll defo spend time with anatsuno and hope to see crazybutsound, not_yet_tamed, and anyone else who is around!

Oh, how I wish I could meet you in France! Take excellent notes; I'll want to hear about everything you did and saw. Lucky you!

I may take notes, or I may just drift along and try to experience it. We shall see.

Ooooo! That's brilliant! I definitely hope we can meet up. I suppose it all depends on how long you'll be around and where you want to go but well, at any rate, Lyon's only two hours by train from Paris so one way or another I sure hope I can meet up with you. :-) And just so you know, if you're both history geeks and want to eat well, our old town is part of the UNESCO world heritage, and Lyon is THE capital of gastronomy. Just saying. :-D

I've been to Lyon once but it was a looooong time ago and I forget everything. Plus, I was broke. So I will try to convince Ed to make a gastronomic pilgrimage!
