Sean Astin, live, tomorrow

« previous entry | next entry »

Tomorrow morning, around 10 am Pacific Standard Time, (GMT -8), Sean Astin will be on my local radio variety show, West Coast Live. They stream it live on the internet at www.wcl.org, and archive the shows there, so people elsewhere will get a chance to listen. It's a great show, always full of unusual music, performances, interesting and funny discussions.

After that, he'll be speaking and signing at 2 pm at the Book Passage in Corte Madera. I called the events person, she said it will be crowded, but she's not going to put out the chairs for the audience until 12 noon, at which point it will be first-come-first-served. (Yes, I'm bringing the iBook and the ROTK EE DVDs). See ya there!

Our babysitter can't be here until 10:00, so Jon and I aren't going to get there until 11:30-12:00. (I already told you this in a reply over in my journal, but I didn't know if you had a chance to check your e-mail).

If the seating is opened before we get there, and if you can save a seat for us, that'd be fabulous. Don't get yourself in trouble or anything, tho ;D I'm really looking forward to finally meeting you.

he was definitely 4 blocks from my house, and i could have gone. but sadly, i had too much else to do. all my friends were like "just stay up all night to do your homework" but even though i didn't go, i still ended up falling asleep on my chemistry homework at 2h30 am.

i still kind of wish i had gone.
