mood: sad

Lotrips fandom has lost one of our own when ismenin died early this morning. She was a great Elijah fan, a wonderful writer of over-the-top romances, and a gracious and generous person. I only got to know her in the last few years, but will always miss her.

We loved her too, and I'm glad I got a chance to say so!

There's a lot of her remaining here, and it's a comfort.

Oh that breaks my heart. I remember when she got a special picture with Elijah when they were at that convention in London and how special it was for her. She was indeed a good writer and I will miss her dearly.

I didn't know Ismenin but I always feel sadly touched when one of us online dies. It's such a strange new community we have here, and the way livejournal posts remain when the poster has died, is very odd, but I know that we feel it terribly.

The posts remain, and that's something.

Hello my dear-- Your post was the post that informed of Ru's passing. Thank you for that.

I shall miss her. She was a very gracious brave woman. And she loved Dom/Elijah so much!

Fandom is lessened by her passing.

I needed to say something about her, which is rare for me. I'm so glad I got to know her.

Oh my gosh. I mean, it isn't a complete surprise, but it's still a shock. I'm so sorry she won't see the release of The Hobbit, with its framing.

Thank you for posting about her.

Oh, I didn't even think of it, she'd have loved the Hobbit.
