mood: okay

I'm looking for webcomic recommendations for my kidlet (she's now 9, she was 3 when I got sucked into fandom, wow). She has read and liked Get Medieval, Gunnerkrigg Court, and the Order of the Stick so far. She likes silliness, puns and adventures. Also, minimal angst and violence; and young sympathetic characters are always good. Thanks in advance from both of us!

PS I've been reccing a bit lately, Lotrips and otherwise, are at delicious.com/msilverstar

I'm not sure if there are webcomic links on this site but there are lots of links for graphic novels for kids. It's a link from one of my favorite, Babymouse.

She does like the comics in the newspapers too, and Calvin & Hobbes, and even Dilbert. Will look for some of those titles, they seem very promising. We had Babymouse when she was first learning to read, I wonder if we still do. She'd get so many more of the jokes now!

Zits turns out to be very insightful about living with a teenage boy. Who knew?

No recommendations I'm afraid, but I just looked up the ones she's liked and she seems like a pretty cool kid. They look like fun.

She's mostly a sweetie, though once in a while she snarls theatrically at a perceived slight or insult.
