mood: pleased

Really sweet pictures Elijah and Pamela at the LA airport. I think they look happy and comfortable, may we all be so lucky.

David Tennant (Tenth Doctor Who) and his dad were on some British cooking show called "Ready, Steady, Cook" (on YouTube)), David looks completely cute and edible, and his dad seems very sweet and Scottish (he cooks haggis) and he rolls the r in "turnips" to an amazing extent.

Plus! I have just got a great deal on pewter-colored Birkinstock clogs. As elegant as my poor feet can be (I have Plantar Fasciitis and need really good foot support).

Hi there. Sorry to pounce on you from absolutely nowhere but I have Plantar Fasciitis too and I've never spoken to anyone else who has it before. I hadn't considered Birkenstocks presumably they work for you?

I have special insoles which I normally wear inside lace up shoes or boots which isn't the best in summer. Any other tips for suitable footware would be gratefully received!!

(thanks to the link to the photos they are tremendously cute)

Hiiii! There's at least two other people in fandom circles with plantar fasciits, somewhere I recced a lotrips story which included the condition (as an aside more than a plot or character element).

Birkinstocks really work for me. In fact, the horrificly expensive orthotic insert I got from the orthopedist is a custom-made Birkinstock insert! I have spiffy sandle Birkies for summer and nice clog and closed-shoe Birkies for winter. Everything else hurts like hell. Give them a try, please! You need to go to a store for the initial sizing, and know it takes a couple of days for you to get used to them and them to conform to you. But once they do, you'll be amazed.

(Yes, cute pictures! yay!)

OOoh, I've just checked the Birkenstock website and they do non-leather - result! I will go to a stockist to establish the appropriate size and then presumably I can just buy online after that? I am really excited about this so thanks very much.

Would you mind if I friended you? Not just because we have funny feet in common but because you do recs. I discovered this fandom about a year ago and since then I have been reading like a mad thing. What initially seemed like an inexhaustible back catalog of lotrips now seems to be drying up so I am always on the look out for a new rec.

Sure friend away. My recs are always unlocked. It's only my personal whinging that's flocked and you're better off without that.

1111 *screams*

Maybe he'll actually mature into someone half-way normal looking... Hoh, even I could get to like him this way... Even his gap teeth are less prominent, and the shades work well to hide the bug eyes. *ggg* He's actually got a good head shape, good bone structure. Ah, I bet this makes Dom go all weak in the knees (when he's not trying not to shoot up... ah, the revelations and the losses of innocence).

David Tennant on Ready Steady Cook? I totally heart that show! It's so great for students being both a. educational and b. daytime tv *beams*

Hi, I've just friended you. I think I was drawn in by the title of your journal ^_^
