mood: recumbent
music: kidlet reading with the teenboy

For those of us proud to be feminist and pro-choice, and even people who are not so sure but really don't want to lose all control, let's thank bill napoli for making it clear that in South Dakota, only religious virgins have any right to respect for their personhood rather than their wombs. I encourage you all to join me in the ACLU and Planned Parenthood, and write letters to your local newspaper -- your opinions matter!

Also: if anyone cares to sponsor the kidlet in her kindergarten readathon, she is on track to read at least ten books in the week. A quarter a book is the going rate (I can take paypal on her behalf). Yay for reading!

I spent the day in bed. Didn't mean to, just happened. Sigh.

25 cents a book, I assume. She's thrilled that Mommy's Friends are sponsering her. Except she keeps forgetting the word "sponsor" and having to ask me "what's that word for signing up for the readathon?" At the moment, though, she's playing with blocks and singing "let's dance" to the tune of the Banana Boat Song.

Definitely sign me up--I'll be there Sunday (unless the weather gets *really* icky and rains cats, dogs, and small amphibians), so $.25 a book it is... reading is a good thing!

Can you email me your paypal address (at toastytravesty@gmail.com)? I'd love to sponsor the kidlet. :)

Also, I had something I wanted to mention to you next time we chat about the tiredness, but I'm afraid I'll forget. Erm, maybe you could poke me about it? *hugs muchly*
