This post got lost last month, sorry. They're all great, and delayed reading is far far better than no reading

Billy/Dom, Dom/Billy
[untitled ficlet] by lavitanuova, set summer of 2001 in Mexico, Billy/Dom, PG-13 for innuendo. Dom wants a hug, and Billy doesn't want to respond but he does. Sometimes clichés can come to life, and this is one of them. Perfectly satisfying.

Never Could Resist by apple_pi, LA, after filming, Billy/Dom, hard R. A bit of angst slipping into the sex-in-a-cupboard. Implies so much, tells so little. Plus: fabulous handjob/blowjob smut.

untitled porny ficlet by pippinmctaggart, apple_pi and fitofpique, set during filming, Dom/Billy, hard R. Hypothetical questions become literal and then physical, all the while being funny and sexy and hawt.

Orlando/Elijah
Catching a Wave by wynterhawk, set during filming, Orlando/Elijah, PG for language. In which Elijah almost drowns, Orlando knows about broken noses, and Elijah falls asleep. And I remember how much I like friendship fic.

Dom/Elijah
Hit Me Baby One More Time, by kyuuketsukirui, time & place unknown, Dom/Elijah, NC-17 for light bondage and spanking. Gorgeous hot consensual "punishment" combined with friendly snark, wonderful. slashababy 2005 fic

Combinations of Actors
Not So Complicated and Getting Complicated by apple_pi and fitofpique, set during filming, Billy/Sean Bean, R. Dom's oblivious, Billy's a lovesick jessy, and Sean wants to get laid. Only, there's dialog and character and massages and blowjobs and fucking and it's wonderful. </u>

Wager by kaydeefalls, set during filming, Dom/Viggo/Billy, hard R. Set during early filming, Dom bets that he can shag Viggo first. The consequences are enlightening. Also sexy as hell. slashababy 2005 fic

For Want of a Bean nienor__niniel, set during filming, Orlando/Bean/Viggo/Ian McKellan, NC-17 for group sex. And what incredibly hot group sex it is, told from Orlando's point of view, and expertly organized by Ian. GUH! slashababy 2005 fic

Please leave feedback for the authors, even a word or two is great.

There's a difference between Billy/Dom and Dom/Billy?

It's probably a difference in POV. I tend to list pairings by POV, myself (but I'm hardly consistent).

ding! you win ;-)

I'm pretty inconsistent too, but I try. My personal archive went through a couple of organizational schemes before I settled on pairing and pov as the main theme.

Hmmm. How would that work for stories with shifting or omniscient POV, or from the POV of a character not included in the pairing? Or does that fall into the not-consistent portion? :-)

Yeah, then it obviously doesn't work quite the same. I've heard that some people even list pairings according to who tops, but that wouldn't always work, either. So. :D

Wow. I would think most the time that wouldn't work, given the number of stories in which both characters top, and the number of non-explicit slash stories (and for that matter, the number of explicit slash stories that don't include penetrative sex). Now I'm curious if the people who list pairings by who tops are the type of people who think only anal sex counts as gay sex and that every gay relationship includes a man and a "woman," because I can't see the designation working at all otherwise.

Note that I said that I'd only heard that, and I don't think I actually know anyone who uses that method (at least, I'm not aware of it, if they do). But, I agree that there are so many instances where the method couldn't apply that I wonder how feasible it would be to use it, anyway. You could be right about the type of people who would consider listing pairings that way.

Interesting, I'm more about the story than the pairing cos I never care who tops.

I never claimed to be perfect! If there's no main POV, I just punt.

For me there is, and as bunnie thought, it's POV.
