mood: squirmy

How I wish I could be organized and methodical and rec as I go along. This is a mix of old and new, as usual. But mostly new!

OMG, I'm reading mpreg. I said I never would, but good writing got past my defenses!

Unexpected (scroll down the list) (by jasmineskie, Viggo/Orlando; set around 2004; NC-17 in parts, mpreg) . This series, still a WIP, amazingly well, partly because it turns fanon on its head -- Viggo is the pregnant one. They're both such strong characters, with excellent voices and realistic actions. Too good to let a little thing like realism get in the way.

And while I'm at it, an older one:

Thursday's Child (by chaosmanor; Orlando/Viggo, set around 2004; NC-17 in parts, mpreg). A lovely strong Orlando voice, some angst but not in a bad way. Orlando gets pregnant, but he doesn't get stupid. Like all her stories, compulsively readable.

And some relatively sedate Billy/Dom:

Fealty (by mirabile_dictu; Billy/Dom, Dom/Bernard; set during filming; PG-13). Bernard's presence reveals and heals some self-deception.

It Has Two Faces (by sparkythehamstr; time unknown; Billy/Dom; NC-17). Billy watches himself and a quite toppy!Dom in a mirror, in a hot explicit PWP. Fabulous imagery, made me squirm.

Never say never, I guess.

Yay, recs. Mirror porn! So very, very hot.

(I'm thinking Billy and Rachel might like some of that at some point...)

Ah, so now I know who writes those two. You and rpsgirl. :D

Honestly? Right now I'm waiting to see how Billy reacts to Rachel's admission of belonging to the Establishment. Oh, the angst potential! :D

First, thank you for the recommendation! I was extremely hesitant about this story, so you've really made me happy. But then, you so often do.

But also thank you for the links to Unexpected, which I unexpectedly adored, and to chaosmanor. You've mentioned her to me before but I was lazy and never looked her up. So much good stuff! Thank you! You have definitely done your good deed for the week.

*hugs* Thank you for the rec, sweetie! I never thought I'd write an mpreg either, and it's turning out to be my longest story ever.

OMG thank you for the rec! But the story does have a name; it's called "It Has Two Faces."

*blushes* Thank you!
