i've been meaning to rec for a while

Lotsa recs: Billy/Viggo, Billy/Dom, Dom/Viggo, Billy/Dom/Viggo, Dom/Orlando, Elijah/Dom, Elijah/Sean Bean, Sean Bean/Orlando, Sean Astin/Elijah, Elijah/Christine/Sean Astin!

knotted tight (by flusteredspeech; Written for the lotrips wedding fic slashaton. Gorgeous love story, braiding in Billy's sadness about losing his parents and Casablanca and bare feet and deep affection. The opposite of schmoopy marriage-fic, plus my almost-OTP, Billy/Viggo, yay!

undertow (by fic_cld, set probably during filming, Billy/Dom, NC-17 with some recreational drug use). It's gorgeous, the whole thing, from the first tentative touches, to the handjobs which are so right, to the very very last bit. Enormously satisfying.

The Poem of the Air (by la_joconde, set during principal filming, Billy/Dom, PG-13). Satisfying interplay and banter, wonderful dialog, spot-on characterization of Billy, Dom, Elijah, Orlando and Viggo. The plot sneaks up on you, until suddenly there's twisty-chestness and tension beautifully resolved.

Surety (by kraken_wakes, Dom loves Billy, PG) Short, but rings so beautifully true and tragic.

Elf-hazard (by unstealthy, set during filming, Dom/Orlando, PG-13). In which Dom lusts, Orlando is cheerfully receptive, and Billy gives a little push.

For Fear Your Grace Should Fall (by geekwriter143, Elijah/Orlando, set spring 2005, R) What happens after Orlando & Kate break up. I particularly like the end, and some of those lines, just make me all mushy, like when Orlando realizes he has something of Alexandra's, He's serious about giving it back to her, doesn't just think of it as some stupid little kid thing, and Elijah can't articulate why, but it makes his chest ache.

The Sneer of Cold Command… (by valerienne, set in the future, Dom, Orlando, Andy Serkis, PG) Futurefic character study with a fascinating twist.

... and another thing (by buckle_berry, Dom/Viggo, time & place unspecified, NC-17). Just a vivid ficlet that turns things inside out a bit.

Precious Thing (by ingve9, Billy/Dom/Viggo, post-filming, PG-13).
I love everything about this: the exotic names and flavors, the atmosphere of warm sensuality, the exquisite use of second-person, the sharing of love and sex... And of course, the personalities.

A Very Bad Idea (by ditzyfrizz, probably set during filming, Dom/Orlando, R). Really sharp and strong. I love that it doesn't have a snog-shag happy ending but is much more complicated. A new and different take on the boys from anyone else, and it's a delight to read

Drunken dreams? (by saura_, set early in principal photography, Elijah/Dom, NC-17) Oh how I like this situation, cos don't we all sometimes end up with reality being less wonderful than dreams. Elijah's passionate fantasies are very hot, and yay for tender Dom.

Big Man (by trianne, set after filming, Elijah/Sean Bean, NC-17) Gorgeous, in an angsty, unfulfilled, twisty-chest way. Wow. Ouch. Goes so well with Little Man. And it nailed first-person voice, which usually sounds totally dorky to me. Gorgeous.

Clean Up (Sean Bean/Orlando, Sean wanking, R) I like this, especially the way it can be read in so many different ways. I took it as before / during / after, and was surprised that others took it as three different directions. Very sympathetic Sean Bean in all cases.

Erasing the Questions (by princessofg, Sean Astin/Elijah, NC-17, set in January 2004). That's lovely, perfect sweet loving with a whole lot of unspoken angst that keeps it from being impossibly schmoopy.

How to Treat a Lady One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven (by nienor__niniel; Elijah/Christine Astin, Elijah/Sean, Sean/Christine; set approx. spring 2005, NC-17). Elijah spends a little time with Christine Astin and discovers a lot of new things about her. Great Elijah voice, excellent het sex, domme!Christine, surprises and twists, baths, teasing, toys, and a cameo appearance by a golf club.

Thanks for these, especially "Poem of the Air" which I didn't know about, and "For Fear Your Grace Should Fall" which I meant to add to Memories but forgot to. You rock!

Hi! Thanks for the rec; not many people have found that one and none of my usual archives really want it, so I really appreciate that. :-)
